Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)
WIC is a special supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. It is a preventive health and nutrition program that provides short-term assistance for families to promote optimal growth and development.
New WIC Food List (effective October 1, 2009)
The Idaho WIC Program provides:
- Nutrition & Health Assessments
- Nutrition Education
- Breastfeeding Information & Support
- Referral to Community Support Services
- Recipes, Newsletters, and Educational Materials
